It’s been great as a social activity, a form of exercise, and even as a method of introducing me to new music. Moving to Chicago gave me the opportunity to really explore the blues. The local blues community, though small, is passionate.

Recently, a member of the community created the short fictional film Chi-Town Pulse, which is set in the Chicago blues dance scene. They had their first public showing at a red carpet premiere recently, and I was asked to assist with photography. Special thanks to Keir for letting me try out his new 50/1.2L lens for the night (thus, all of these were taken with that lens :)
