Sunday, February 13th, 2011So Rich and I wanted to surprise my parents for Christmas. So we casually asked them to go to the Botanic Gardens with us over the fall, while we snapped many photos for a cute Christmas gift.
We also wanted some with us in them too.
I photoshopped this one so we could all be together!
I loved all of the fall colors too and needed some scenic photos to put up in our home.

Operation Christmas Child
Wednesday, February 9th, 2011Our small group decided to fill a few shoe boxes to give to children who would not be receiving Christmas gifts. Everyone got into packing the boxes, including the children!
Instead of wrapping the gifts, we cut out stencils and airbrushed the boxes!
It was really nice to spend time with the group doing this activity together. I loved how all of the kids really got along!
Washington DC
Tuesday, February 8th, 2011We took a little trip to DC to visit our friend Nathan before he headed off to boot camp.
We visited with his family and many of their pets.
One of the days we headed to the capital. We saw fireworks over the capital building, the Holocaust museum, and saw many historical buildings.
